PDF form filling

Fill any PDF. Even the flat ones.

Flat, scanned, and non-fillable PDFs included — no interactive form fields required. Formeze reads the page, finds the fields, and lays your answers on top.

The difference

Where other PDF fillers stop.

A “fillable” PDF is one that was built with interactive fields. Most of the forms you actually get aren’t — and that is exactly where Formeze works.

Ordinary PDF fillers

  • Only fill PDFs that were built with interactive fields
  • Do nothing with a scan or a photographed form
  • Leave you to print, hand-write, and re-scan

Formeze

  • Fills any PDF — flat, static, scanned, or fillable
  • Reads a scan or a phone photo of a paper form
  • Overlays typed answers and gives you a clean PDF back

How it works

It reads the page, not the form.

Because detection is visual, a flat export and a scanned page look the same to Formeze — both just get filled.

  1. /01

    Render the page

Formeze turns each page of your PDF into a high-resolution image — so it makes no difference whether the file was built fillable, exported flat, or scanned from paper.

  2. /02

    Find the fields with AI

Vision models read the image and locate every place an answer belongs — text lines, checkboxes, and signature blocks — without depending on any built-in form fields.

  3. /03

    Overlay your answers

Your matched values are placed on top as clean text, right where they go. Review each field, then download a finished PDF — nothing leaves the page without you.

Formeze fills blank fields from your saved data — it doesn’t do math or read a form’s existing answers, and it flags calculated fields so you can check them before you submit.

Common questions

Filling a flat PDF, answered.

Can Formeze fill a PDF that isn't fillable?
Yes. Formeze does not need a PDF to have built-in (fillable) form fields. It renders each page as an image, uses AI to find where the fields are, and lays your saved answers on top — so a flat, static, or exported-to-print PDF fills exactly like a fillable one.
How do I fill a flat PDF that has no form fields?
Upload the PDF in your Formeze dashboard, scan it from the browser extension, or photograph it with the mobile scanner. Formeze detects the fields with AI, fills in your matched values, and lets you review and download the finished PDF.
Can Formeze fill a scanned PDF or a photo of a paper form?
Yes. A scan or a phone photo becomes an image just like any other page, and Formeze detects and fills the fields the same way — so you can fill a paper form without printing anything.
How is this different from a normal PDF form filler?
Most PDF fillers only work on files that were built with interactive AcroForm fields. Formeze detects fields by sight, not from form metadata, so it works on the flat and scanned PDFs those tools can't touch.
What does the finished file look like?
You get a downloadable PDF with your answers placed as clean text (and an X in the checkboxes you selected) directly on the form, ready to send or print.
Is there anything Formeze won't do on a PDF?
It won't do math or calculate totals, and it doesn't read handwriting or a form's existing typed answers — it fills blank fields from the data you've saved. Formeze flags calculated or specialized fields so you can double-check them before you submit.
Do I need an account?
Yes — a free Formeze account. It lets your saved answers sync securely so autofill works across your PDFs, web forms, and devices.
