Formeze stores the form data you save and the pages you scan — encrypted on disk, processed on our own servers, isolated to your account, and never sold. This is the plain-language version of exactly what we collect and what we do with it.

How we think about privacy
Three commitments that shape every decision about your data.
We only handle what you save or scan.
There's no hidden tracking of your browsing. Formeze only handles the fields you save or that it auto-captures when you submit a form, and the pages you actively scan — never your general browsing. You choose what's captured, and you can turn capture off or exclude any site.
Your data is processed on our own servers.
Semantic matching and form-field detection run on infrastructure we operate. Your data is never sent to an outside AI provider, and it's never pooled to train models shared across customers — everything stays isolated to your own account.
Export or delete everything, whenever you want.
Your data is yours. Download a full copy — fields, scans, and history — or permanently wipe your account straight from your settings, no questions asked.
What we collect
When you sign up: your name, email, and authentication credentials. When you use Formeze: the form-field labels and values you save or that Formeze auto-captures when you submit a form (on by default — you can turn it off), the web address of the page a captured field came from, and, when you run a scan, an image of the page or PDF you're scanning. Because it captures the fields you submit, those values can include financial or health information when you fill in such forms — only passwords and payment-card details are excluded automatically. We don't track your general browsing history.

Scanning & captured images
When you scan a web form or PDF, Formeze captures an image of that page and the fields it detects, and saves them to your account so it can fill the form, let you review and export your captures, and improve detection accuracy for you. These images and their detected text are encrypted at rest and stay tied to your account — they are never pooled across users to train shared models. Turning off auto-capture, or excluding a site, stops these captures from being saved.

How we use it
Solely to provide the autofill service to you. We generate semantic embeddings of your field labels and run form-field detection on your scans — all on our own servers — to match and fill fields intelligently. We do not sell or share your personal data, and we do not use it to train models shared with other users.

Storage & encryption
Saved field values, scan images, and their detected text are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they're written to storage, and all traffic between you and our servers travels over TLS. Passwords and payment-card fields are filtered out of capture by default.

Your rights
Export everything you've stored — including your fields, scans, and history — or permanently delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved fields, scan images, embeddings, and usage history for good.

Service providers
We share data only with the vetted providers that help us run Formeze, and only as needed to operate the service. Our AI models — semantic matching and form-field detection — run on our own infrastructure, not a third-party AI provider.
